meesna is back due to pawaa of butt junior. This is sheer parchipan and mishap has problems with afridi. I dont buy the malik siyasi pawaa because if that was the case he would have been capt instead of mishap.
Its all mishap groupbandi and malak is now becoming 2nd mansur akhtar or malishya of mishap.

I agree with you that Malik is gone and there is absolutely no justification in bringing him back specially with good young talent around. That said, we all know very well what kind of clout Malik have and how strong he can be due to his background and political strings. So it is very much possible that Misbah is “forced” due to political and other pressures to have Malik included back in the team. But you will never like to give this benefit of doubt to Misbah.

Furthermore, from what I remember, Shahid Afridi was the one who insisted for inclusion of Shoaib Malik in the World Cup squad and he fought with PCB favouring Malik. I also remember Afridi saying that Malik is a very useful all-rounder for Asian pitches.

But you never seemed to have ‘disliked’ Afridi for that … so why cursing Misbah now
