Mr. Zahid Haseeb --- What do you mean by nonsense? If you say something it is sense? When others express their views it is nonsense?

If you don't like the so-called attitude of the blog, simply don't visit, don't read. No one is forcing you to do so. But, you cannot control the whole world, can you?

Yahan, Urdu aur Angrezi key baat nahee ho rehi hai. Yahan pehlay Waqar ki integrity ki baat ho rehi thee..... Waqar along with Wasim, Mushtaq, Ata ur Rahman, Saleem Malik and Ijaz Ahmad were banned for playing cricket for Pakistan and not just that, they were not allowed take up any official position in any government or semi-government organization. But, the Butt regime and the previous one did not show any respect for the law of the country.

The irony is first Mushtaq was made bowling coach of Pakistan team, then Waqar and then Ijaz was made fielding coach and finally Waqar was made the main coach. On what grounds? The team wasn't doing good except for the fact that Afridi gelled the team as a captain and made them into a winning team. For losing the WC in India, Afridi is made responsible whereas Waqar and Intikhab are hailed as heroes.(Misbah de Pyjamay da koi Zikr Nai aye) Why? What have they done? Inti was waiting to tell the world that when he was the manager in 1992, the team won and when he is the manager the team won again. In 1992 MY FOOT that the team won because of Intikhab, Imran Khan never talked to that guy on any matters except for telling to take care of the flying schedule and hotel arrangements.

Even during the recent West Indies tour, the first three matches were won by Afridi's team and then Waqar and Inti changed the team and forced a team that the captain did not like it and they lost the 2 matches (one on D/L method with a very narrow margin and the other because the team was pissed off by the selection). And, they blame Afridi for it? What kinda people are they that they take the credit and pass on the criticism when the team loses.

The BUTT regime has taken so much powers that it is not just a handful of people but, the whole world is talking about and that MF is going to get an extension of another 6 months to screw up the future of the team further. For BUTT it is BIG matter of EGO which is obvious from his BUTT and his ugly mouth that he keeps blabbering filth all the time.

You say about 90% of the people in the world cannot speak English properly? I am not sure from where you've arrived at that figure, even in China which is world's largest populated country and Russia ( a new country now ) they speak English these days, Indians (the second largest population in the world) and Sri Lankans speak a hundred times better than Pakistanis, then the whole of America, Canada, England, Scotland, Bangladesh and bunch of other countries have English as their official language.

It is not a matter of accent, but the grammatical blasphemies and the bloopers they (Wasim and Waqar) make, we laugh at them. That is the least we can do. Its a shame that when you reach to that level you don't bother about the country's image anymore and on top of that you think that your English is AAA ........ Ignorance is bliss....... some of their admirers say, "Wasim ...tay.... Waqaar Wadi Changi Engrezi Bolday Ain." Theek hai jee tusi khush reho maoj kero. "Bambooed" kero logan noo (that is what they both said on TV as commentators) instead of Bamboozled they both said, Bambooed...And the Australian commentators were laughing their heads off and one of the said,. Seems like they have been Bambooed all their life.

PS.
One of our friends here on the blog said something very apt......... If you create a "C" outta yourselves, you ought to get F'd."

Shoaib Akhtar was a problem and remains a problem, says Wasim Akram

MUMBAI: Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram today ridiculed Shoaib Akhtar and his controversial autobiography, which has made several tall claims, saying that the pacer was a "problem" when he was an active player and remains just that even in retirement.
Akram pooh-poohed Shoaib's claims of making Sachin Tendulkar uncomfortable with his pace in the Faisalabad Test in 2006 and also rejected some of the other allegations he has made in the book titled 'Controversially Yours'.

"I remember one of Sachin's knocks in the Sialkot Test. It was the fourth Test and the wicket had lot of grass, I was 22 and Waqar was 19 and we were very fast," Akram recalled.

"Waqar hit him on his chin and he came back after taking treatment and scored a 50. If a 16-year-old can't be scared, I don't think any batsman can be scared. It hardly matters what Shoaib says," Akram told reporters here.

Akram said Shoaib, who was a controversial figure all through his playing career, was just trying to sell his book with tall claims and also rejected allegations that he tried to destroy the tearaway pacer's career.

"Whatever the Pakistan Cricket Board says, I am with them. He was a problem when he was in the team and he is a problem when he is out of the team," Akram said.

"He knows, I know and the world knows that he was himself responsible for destroying his career. There is a lot to talk but I don't want to humiliate him. There is an unwritten code among players that some facts should not be revealed before the media," he warned.

"You guys (media) will ensure that his book is a bestseller," he said.

My brother Zahid

Waqar has been a hero for Pakistan cricket and no one is trying to insult him. If we wanted to insult people who speak poor English we could have created a page on Inzamam's, or Afridi's, or Wasim Akram's English. But, this is all light hearted because of the meaning that Waqar ends up conveying.

So, please don't consider this as an insult to Waqar. He remains one of the favourite cricketers of many members of this blog, although his drugs scandal, ball tampering , match fixing, and recent indulgence in team politics has tainted his greatness to some extent.
